Healing From Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA)

NEW! FSA RECOVERY SINGLE-SESSION CONSULTATIONS: Not only do I research, write about, and help people recover from family scapegoating abuse (FSA) – I’ve lived it. I therefore understand first-hand the unique challenges adult survivors of FSA face. Due to the long waiting list for my weekly sessions, I am now offering 90-minute Single Session Consultations (SSC). If you feel you would benefit from a single session with me, please visit my new SSC page to learn more about this new service.

WEEKLY FSA RECOVERY COACHING SESSIONS: FSA Recovery Coaching practice is currently FULL. I am no longer taking waiting list requests.

Recovering from Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) IS Possible!

So many FSA adult survivors express feelings of hopelessness and defeat when they ask me if they can ever recover from the effects of this form of ‘invisible’ abuse that so few in society recognize.

The good news is that yes, you can indeed recover and heal from the effects of FSA and the attendant trauma symptoms and emotional activation that so many survivors experience.

As a result of my 20-plus years of researching on, and working with survivors of, this form of toxic family abuse in clinical settings (as well as my private practice), I have been able to develop a highly effective trauma-informed FSA recovery coaching pathway that effectively addresses the many challenges, symptoms, and issues that adult survivors of FSA face.

In addition, my experience and training as a Family Systems expert allows me to draw from a wealth of ‘real-life’ experiences gained while working with hundreds of dysfunctional and narcissistic families, which assists my coaching clients in gaining a wider perspective in regard to challenging family situations, including decisions around whether or not to end contact.

My coaching and consultation services are also informed by my experience as a licensed Psychotherapist (LMFT) specializing in childhood trauma. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I am committed to meeting the standards, ethics and guidelines set forth by SAMSHA and follow their recommended six key principles of a trauma-informed approach.

I encourage you to read my book on family scapegoating abuse (FSA) first as this will help you to determine if you are a good fit for my coaching services. Session rates are below.
